Be the ACRAWSA Social Media Coordinator

The Australian Critical Race & Whiteness Studies Association intends to create spaces for scholars, activists and writers working on race and whiteness to present their work and engage in critical dialogue. The association’s work is grounded in a commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sovereignty.

We are seeing our social media presence slowly growing. Together with the launch of the new ACRAWSA Blog, the executive committee sees maintaining a vibrant presence online as important.

We are therefore seeking a social media coordinator to manage the ACRAWSA Twitter and Facebook pages. The right person (or persons) will be comfortable with using all dimensions of these social media platforms, will be committed to maintaining a daily presence online, through sharing relevant articles, conference announcements, and linking to the ACRAWSA website and promoting the Associations’ events, blog posts and journal issues. They will do this in consultation with the Association’s executive committee.

If you see yourself in this role, or know someone who would, please get in touch by writing to president@acrawsa.org.au by March 16, 2018.
